The students of “Maria’s Home” actively participated in tree planting organized by «TREEBANK», the pioneering green bank initiative of the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation, in Korakaris. With shovels in hand, they joined hands to sow the seeds of a greener future, contributing to the flourishing biodiversity of our environment.

Furthermore, on March 31st, our students embarked on a journey of discovery to the greenhouses of the Tsakos Group nestled in picturesque surroundings. Guided by our esteemed partner, Mr. Margaritis Karatzas, they delved into the intricate process of tomato production, gaining firsthand insights into the nuances of agricultural practices. Through this immersive experience, the students gleaned a deeper appreciation for the vital role of agriculture in sustaining communities and nourishing societies.
