On the same day, we had the honour to welcome the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General, Georgios Kostidis, for the handover ceremony of the two Escape Defense 38 type, high-speed boats to “ASDEN” (96 ADTE), in the port of Kardamyla, donated by the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation to the Hellenic Army.  

The ceremony was attended by various officials, including the MPs of Chios, Mr. Notis Mitarakis and Mr. Stavros Michaelidis, the Mayor of Chios, Mr. Ioannis Malafis, the Brigadier of 96 ADTE Charalambos Abatzidis, the District Attorney of Chios – Ms. Sofia Diploidou, the Mayor of Oinousses – Mr. Georgios Daniil and members of the local community of Kardamyla.  The Metropolitan of Chios, Psara and Oinousses Markos graced the ceremony.
