As part of their practical training and in an effort to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial processes, the students of our Academy’s Engineering Department conducted an educational visit to the Public Power Corporation (Δ.Ε.Η.) facilities in Chios on May 15th.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to visit the plant and to learn about critical energy and mechanical systems. Experienced professionals from the company provided insights into the operation of power generation engines, control panels, distribution systems, and the unique challenges involved in running a power station.
