In February, with great joy and enthusiasm “Τ.Ε.Ε.Ν.S.” had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Professors from Uruguay’s Naval Academy, during a special event organised by the shipping branch and personally attended by Capt. Panagiotis N. Tsakos. The purpose of the visit was the official Twinning between the two Academies, an initiative that aims to foster international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge. The event also included the annual New Year’s pie-cutting ceremony, a festive event which strengthens the bonds of friendship and collaboration.

The visitors were guided through the “T.E.E.N.S.” facilities and participated in educational activities alongside the students. Through personal involvement, they gained a deeper understanding of the teaching process, and the innovative curriculum applied at both the School and the Academy. This visit marked an important step towards the strengthening of relations and the exchange of ideas in the fields of education and maritime affairs.
