On Wednesday, 15th March 2023, our Group in Chios organized a First Aid Seminar, in collaboration with the General Hospital of Chios. The students of TEENS and our employees were instructed on how to offer CPR first aid. They were also informed on the correct use of defibrillators, and in which public spots these are located on Chios.
Alongside the “All together we can” association, the Municipality of Chios and the Blood Donation Service of General Hospital of Chios, we also organized a voluntary blood donation on 24th March 2023. We were delighted to welcome a noteworthy number of volunteers for this important voluntary life-saving initiative.
One of the main pillars of our concern remains the sense of social responsibility for the well-being of mankind. In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, arrangements were made to order and transport 262 cartons of clothing, medicine and food to regions mostly affected by the earthquake. This donation was commended in the Turkish media.
Additionally, 101 boxes of clothing from our in-house wardrobe were donated to the Panhellenic Union of Friends of Multi-Child Families, the Philanthropic Association “Agalia” and the Hospitality Structure of SERRES.
