Students of Chian schools, participating in the educational project, “To ploio paei sxoleio”, had the chance to visit the TEENS training ship, S/Y “Mania”. Additionally, Captain George Mennis, an employee of our Group, visited the 2nd Elementary School of Vrontados and had a discussion with the pupils regarding the maritime profession.
Webex meetings between schools and adopted vessels, continued this trimester, namely between A) Elementary School of Nestorion – M/T Ouraga Princess, B) Secondary School of Kalamoti – M/T Promitheas, C) “Maria’s Home” – M/T Marathon, D) “T.E.E.N.S.” – S/T Porto, E) 5th Elementary School of Chios – S/T Porto F) Elementary School of Nenita – M/T Andromeda, G) 2nd Elementary School of Vrontados – M/T Elias Tsakos, H) 2nd Elementary School of Piraeus – M/T Leontios, I) Secondary School of Kozani – M/T Aegeas, J) Secondary School of Kallimasia – M/T Berenike, and K) Secondary School of Kalamoti – M/T Promhtheas. The interaction between students and the officers of the vessels involved in the programme brings a lot of joy to all participants.
