On January 26th, our B’ Class students of the Masters Adults Group and the C’ Class students of Masters and Engineers embarked on an educational trip with our training yacht m.y. “Mania”. Among the gentle sway of the waves, our students delved into a comprehensive exploration of maritime practices and technology.
The Masters were afforded the invaluable opportunity to train in steering the vessel. Τhe engineers visited the engine room and both participated in the process of mooring and unmooring the vessel.
It was the turn of our C’ Class students of Masters to visit m.y. “Mania” on March 1st with the objective of familiarizing themselves with the bridge equipment including the GMDSS. Through these immersive experiences, our students not only deepen their understanding of maritime navigation and communication, but also cultivate the essential skills required for a successful start in their respective fields.

On March 11th, our A’ Class students had the opportunity to visit and take a tour of the model hydroponic greenhouse of “Agrochios” of the Tsakos Group situated in the area of Korakaris.
Guided by experts in the agricultural field, our students gained firsthand insights into the cutting-edge techniques employed in hydroponic cultivation. This immersive experience not only deepened their understanding of sustainable agriculture but also inspired a profound appreciation for the harmonious integration of technology and nature.

Furthermore, on March 20th, our students showcased their intellectual prowess as they enthusiastically participated in the prestigious national competition of the Greek Economic Olympiad, driven by a fervent commitment to academic excellence, personal growth and academic advancement.

On March 29th, within the framework of the educational program, “Ships entering school ports”, an online meeting of the A’ Class took place with S/T Lisboa. Our students had a unique insight of life onboard after having the opportunity to discuss specific topics with the Captain, Officers and the Crew.
As part of the Panhellenic School Games, our school participated this year in football and volley competitions. We congratulate all participants for their participation, good sportsmanship and fair play! We are very proud of our girls’ volley team who reached the finals.

Our School honored the heroes of 1821 by organizing a school event, participating in the wreath-laying ceremony and the National parade on March 25th.
