For the 13^th consecutive year, the Foundation co-organized the Greek-Iberoamerican Festival, “Literature in Athens”, which was held from June 13^th to 24^th, in Athens and other cities. This great celebration of culture, with important representatives of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking letters, receives 2,500 visitors every year. Uruguay was represented by the actor and playwright, Mr. Iván Solarich. His original play, “There are no flowers in Istanbul“, was performed in the auditorium of “Megaron Makedonia” on June 17^th. The performance was followed by a discussion between the artist and the Honorary President of  our Foundation, Mrs. Margarita Larriera, concerning the role Greece has played in Uruguayan theatre. The evening ended with the traditional reception for all participants and friends of LEA festival, in the courtyard.
