The Maria Tsakos Foundation remained closed during the first weeks of January due to the summer holidays. Upon our return, we welcomed the New Year by cutting the New Year’s cake in the presence of our teachers.

As customary, numerous summer activities of diverse linguistic and cultural content were held at our premises in February, open to all Uruguayans. Greek language teachers also participated in weekly training meetings, aiming for a constructive exchange of experiences and opinions to improve our Foundation’s teaching methods. These meetings were organized by the Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Soraya Ochoviet.
