On September 8th, “TEENS” Board Member Mr. Vassilis Terzis visited “Maria’s Home” and talked with all the boarders about issues related to staying at a Boarding School, the relationships between the boarders and the empathy that needs to prevail in their relationships, given the fact that he himself was a boarder as a teen.

On September 16th, we had the pleasure of the visit from Capt. Nikolas Athanasiou, CSOO & Deputy CSO of Tsakos Shipping & Trading S.A., who met our boarders and engaged in insightful discussions on various aspects of pursuing a maritime career.

On September 19th, Mr. George Kallianis, a Board member of HELMEPA, visited our premises. This visit aimed to educate the students on the importance of protecting our seas and the planet, whilst emphasizing the value of volunteerism and personal responsibility.

Furthermore, our students had the opportunity to become familiarised with the training vessels, s.y. ‘MANIA’ and m.y. ‘ATOKOS’ and under the guidance of Capt. Stelios Koumis and Capt. Petros Dakoutros, they were instructed on the maintenance needs of the vessels and the paramount importance of safety protocols in marine operations.
