Mr. Anastasios Kartsimadakis, Tsakos Group Vetting & Inspections Manager, paid a visit to “Marias’ Home” dined with our boarders and engaged in insightful discussions on various aspects of pursuing a maritime career.

Furthermore, our students had the opportunity to explore Tholos Boatyard, guided by the Director, Mr. Ioannis Sotirianos.  His valuable insights into the different types of vessels, their maintenance needs and the paramount importance of safety protocols in maritime operations, were explained to our students.

On 11th November, Mr. Christos Michalios, a distinguished Chian writer, delivered a captivating speech at “Maria’s Home”.  He recounted the historical events surrounding the liberation of Kardamyla from Ottoman rule, enriching our students’ understanding of local history.

On 21st November, the Director of Integrated Marine Ecosystem of the Shipping Directorate, Deputy Ministry of Cyprus, Mr. Ioannis Typaldos and the Maritime Adviser of the Cypriot Embassy in Athens, Mr. Adonis Pavlidis, accompanied by Mrs. Venetia Kallipolitou, H.R. & Training Manager of the Tsakos Group, visited our premises, where they were informed about our vision and mission and also discussed the maritime profession with the students.
