As part of the communications under the educational programme, ‘Ships entering school ports’, our boarders connected with the M/T Bosporos and discussed with Master El. Chanias and the crew about life on board and the maritime profession in general.  They were pleasantly surprised to also communicate with T.E.E.N.S.’ graduate, Mrs. Stam. Kokolakis, who recently joined the vessel as a cadet.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Just before the Christmas holidays, students of ‘Maria’s Home’ and ‘T.E.E.N.S.’ offered handmade treats and clothing from the wardrobe of “Maria Tsakos Foundation” to the Detention Center of Chios, in a gesture of solidarity.

Additionally, our boarders organized a bazaar that was held in the central square of Chios, with handmade gifts and goodies, the proceeds of which will be allocated to a worthy cause.
