On the occasion of the strategic partnership that was forged between the Tsakos Enhanced Education Nautical Studies (T.E.E.N.S.) and the Uruguayan Naval Academy, representatives and students of the Uruguayan Academy came to visit the Foundation on October 7th on the occasion of the visit to Uruguay of the General Manager of Tsakos Shipping and Trading, Mr. Haris Hajimichael along with other colleagues from the Tsakos Group. Members of the Board of Directors, professors, and staff of the Foundation welcomed the Greek and Uruguayan visitors. During the tour, they visited some of the classes, became familiar with the teaching methods and spoke with our students. The visit was followed by a small cocktail reception.
The new Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Uruguay, Mr. Petros Mavromichalis, also visited the Foundation on October 14th to get acquainted with our work. The Ambassador was welcomed by our Director, Mrs. Soraya Ochoviet and the Honorary President, Mrs. Margarita Larriera.
