On, 26th June 2023, we had the exceptional honour to welcome The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr. Jung Il Lee in Chios to our premises. His Excellency was accompanied by his esteemed wife, Mrs. Yun Sil Joo and his delegation. Apart from the customary sighseeing of the island’s attractions and the Mastiha museum, the delegation accompanied by Capt. P.N. Tsakos, also visited the premises of our Lyceum “TEENS”. They enjoyed conversations with our educational staff and students and were impressed by our state-of-the-art premises. Capt. P.N.Tsakos’ vision to offer higher education through a school catering for all the needs of its students was apparent.
A visit to “Maria’s House” in Kardamyla, the hometown of Capt. P.N. Tsakos, followed and then His Excellency and his delegation had the pleasure of taking a cruise onboard the training yacht “MANIA”. Of signigicant importance was the strengthening of shared friendly bonds.
