As part of the “Agriculture, Food and Environment” course, Prof. Margaritis Karatzas delivered an insightful presentation on beekeeping, offering our 1^st grade students a unique opportunity to explore this important aspect of agricultural production. The students had the chance to observe beefeeding and the function of beehives.

This presentation highlighted the connection between nature, agriculture and the environment, encouraging students to better understand sustainable food production and the need to prioritize the protection of ecosystems.
