Raising environmental awareness is one of the most important goals of our school.  On 1st November our students participated in a beach-cleaning initiative at Karfas.

This is an annual event, that takes place in the context of the Global Voluntary Coast Cleaning campaign, the largest event of its kind with 17 million volunteers worldwide, coordinated by HELMEPA.

On 10th December, our A’ Class participated in the 1st tree planting of “TREEBANK”, an initiative of the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation, to form the 1st green bank for reforestation, honoring the memory of Dr. Eirini Saroglou – Tsakou.

A delegation of our students and of “Maria’s Home” visited the Detention Center of Chios on 19th December, accompanied by teachers and employees of the Tsakos Group, donating 17 parcels of emergency supplies. 

The teachers, administrative personnel and students of our School raised money to support the philanthropic goal of the “Make a Wish” organization, which contributes to the fulfillment of wishes of children suffering from life-threatening diseases, offering our strength, hope and support, to the everyday battle of these young children.

Our A’ Class students collaborated in the creation of an imaginary “T.E.E.N.S.” logo decorated with “wishing stars”.
