With the aim of enhancing our students’ knowledge, we always encourage their participation in various national competitions, such as the “Competition of the Greek Economic Olympiad”. This year, we are proud to announce that our A’ Class students participated in the Competition and reached the second phase.

The students of our School were informed about the importance and contribution of proper nutrition to their physical and mental development during adolescence, by the dietician, Mrs Kelly Melitzani.

“TEENS” Adult Summer School “Ready to Embark, was successfully held this year for a consecutive year at the premises of our School and at the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation. The course involved a series of seminars focusing on the needs of our adult students, who have chosen to follow the parallel educational system. Our primary goal is to help them be well prepared and ready to adapt to the responsibilities they will have to take on a ship as cadets.

As part of the day trip of our School to Oinousses, our students accompanied by their teachers visited the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses and were guided around its premises. They also visited the Maritime Museum of Oinousses where they had the opportunity to see exhibits related to the maritime tradition.

The teacher of our School, Mrs Sofia Topalidou, participated in the educational training program “CERN 2023”. “TEENS” is breaking ground by constantly enhancing the professional profile of our teachers.
