On 4th October, our C’ Class students of the Masters Adults Group visited our training yacht m.y. “Mania” to familiarize themselves with the bridge equipment and the recently installed G.M.D.S.S.  On the 25th of the same month, our C’ Class students of Masters, Engineers and Electricians, also joined an educational trip onboard, accompanied by the nautical instructors of our School.  During sailing, the students familiarized themselves with the use of the G.M.D.S.S., practiced plotting courses, and using nautical charts.

Likewise, on 12th December, the students of Section A2, accompanied by their teachers, made an educational visit to the training yacht m.y. “Mania”.  Subsequently, they visited the Maritime Museum of Chios, enriching their maritime education.

Having as an ultimate purpose the development and enhancement of our students’ knowledge in every scientific field, we encourage their participation in national competitions, such as the Competition of Mathematics “O Thalis” and the Physics Competition “Aristotle”.

Our School honored the National Anniversary of 28th October and the local anniversary of the liberation of Chios from the Ottomans on 11th November with their participation in the school parades and wreath laying, whilst organizing in-school celebrations.

On 19th December, our students, with the assistance of the School’s Parents and Guardians’ Association, organized a bazaar in the city’s central square, the proceeds of which will be directed towards the support of the year-end excursion of our C’ Class students.

On New Year’s Eve, a delegation of our students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in the custom of «Agiovasiliatika Karavakia» honoring this long-standing Chian tradition.

On 22nd December, the students and their families, the administrative and educational personnel of our School, bade farewell to 2023 by singing Christmas carols and exchanging festive wishes.
