Once again, Heritage Day was a great success this year. On Saturday, October 5th, numerous visitors toured our premises, visited the exhibitions of traditional costumes and artwork (created by our students), enjoyed a Greek dancing demonstration and tasted some Greek specialties created by our chef, Mr. Matías Porteiro, as well as wine from the “Orembaé” farm.
The event was highlighted by our professors’ panel discussion entitled, “Wine: a journey through the history and culture of Greece“, as well as the presentation, “Greece: wine with history” by sommelier Mrs. Susana de León. Additionally, musicians from the new rebetika music workshop, led by Professor Valentín Abitante, held their debut with great success and were enthusiastically applauded by the audience.
