Aiming to strengthen the ties between education and the shipping industry, whilst also highlighting career opportunities, an informational event was held on January 30th for students of secondary schools in Lamia. Through interactive presentations, videos, and testimonials from professionals, the students’ horizons were broadened, fostering their interest in the dynamic and exciting field of the maritime sector. Information about the initiatives of the Foundation, “Maria’s Home”, the Merchant Marine Academy T.E.E.N.S., and the Model Vocational Nautical School T.E.E.N.S. was also shared with the participants.
