On March 13th, Father Ioannis Kriaris offered his blessings for the commencement of the new school year. Gathered in our premises, the consecration was attended by our teachers and staff, and the Ambassador of Greece to Uruguay, H.E. Mr. Stavros Spyridakis. Our journey into the new academic year began on 16th March, with approximately 500 students enrolled.
A small farewell gathering was held at the conclusion of the summer seminar for Greek language teachers, in honour of our esteemed colleague and teacher Mr. Gustavo Figarola, who is retiring after more than 40 years of dedicated service to the Foundation. While this marks the end of a chapter, we are delighted that he plans to return in the second semester of 2026 to continue teaching a limited number of Greek language courses, thus remaining an integral part of the Foundation’s long and ongoing journey. We warmly welcome Ms. Adela Corcoll as the newest member to our teaching staff.
