In a particularly warm and creative atmosphere, the Maritime Vocational High School of Ithaca visited the facilities of our Lyceum, offering an important opportunity for acquaintance and cooperation between the two school communities. During the visit, in the presence of the President of “T.E.E.N.S.”, Mrs. Venetia Kallipolitou, the Lyceum Director, Mr. Michail Xynos and the Administrative Director, Mrs. Tatiana Tsardaka, our guests were given a guided tour of the school’s premises and training facilities, gaining firsthand knowledge of the infrastructure and resources that support education in the maritime sector.

At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the significant work of the professors, who with consistency and dedication contribute to the education and preparation of young students for their future careers in the maritime industry. Additionally, through the reading of a letter from the Director of the Maritime Vocational High School of Ithaca, Mr. Ioannis Dendrinós, addressed to Capt. Panagiotis N. Tsakos, the deep appreciation of the School community was expressed for the longstanding and multifaceted contribution of the Tsakos Group to the promotion of maritime education.

The future twinning of the schools was touched upon, with the aim of developing joint activities and educational initiatives.
