On September 13th, the boarders of “Maria’s Home” had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished personality in the shipping industry, Mr. Symeon Palios, B’ Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Maria Tsakos” Foundation. On the occasion of the publication of his book “The Sea is a Road”,, the young boarders had the opportunity not only to learn about his long and remarkable journey in the maritime sector, but also to engage in a meaningful discussion on how new technologies and artificial intelligence are shaping the future of the industry.
