On September 14th, on occasion of the Holy Cross Day celebrations in the maritime village of Kardamyla, the Metropolitan Bishop of Chios, Psara and Oinousses, blessed the new school year at “Maria’s Home”, welcoming both old and new boarders and wishing them good luck with their studies. Τhe event was attended by graduates, parents, representatives of local authorities, as well as distinguished guests.

The event continued with the recognition of graduates for their outstanding performance in the National Examinations. One of the honored graduates, Mr. Nikolaos Stratilas, shared his personal journey, emphasizing the pivotal role that “Maria’s Home” has played in shaping his life. Adding energy and life to the occasion, the boarders introduced themselves, spoke about their hometowns, and guided the visitors through the various areas of “Maria’s Home”, giving everyone firsthand experience of the vibrant spirit and welcoming atmosphere of the Campus.
