On September 18th, at the Homerion Cultural Center of Chios, our School left its mark on the “Neoi Homerides” initiative. A group of students, accompanied by the Director of the Lyceum, Mr. Michael Xynos, and teachers, Mrs. Sophia Topalidou and Mr John Mitakidis, presented an original theatrical script on the acquaintance of Odysseus with Penelope. Their participation was not only limited to a simple theatrical performance but also evolved into a strong connection of Homeric tradition to the modern era. By incorporating tools of artificial intelligence, the audience were offered an inspired perspective on the timelessness of these heroes sparking a lively and creative dialogue.
