We were honoured to be invited by Tema International School to participate in the United Nations Model Conference, “Achieving Fairness in Global Development: Creating Equal Opportunities for Sustainable Change”. The event brought together 309 student delegates from nearly 20 schools to engage in thought-provoking discussions on pressing global issues. The conference featured 11 committees, representing international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Economic and Financial Committee (ECOFIN), African Union, United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Security Council, UN Women, NATO & BRICS, Pan-African Parliament (PAP) and Crises Committees A & B, alongside the Arab League.
Three of our students participated as observers in various committee sessions, gaining valuable insight into research, public speaking, leadership, debating, and teamwork skills as part of their preparation to become the leaders of tomorrow.
