Οn July 8th, we hosted the “EUROCLASSICA” Conference, the group of European Societies of Teachers of Classical Languages and Cultures. The speakers delivered lectures in Greek on Homer and his epic poems which enchanted the audience. Lessons on the Greek and Ancient Greek language were also held for the benefit of the foreign attend.

On July 18th and 19th, our students participated in a maritime excursion onboard our School’s educational sailing boat, “Mania”. As part of this two-day excursion, the students had the opportunity to visit Oinousses Island, where they participated in a tour of the Maritime Museum and spent some time exploring the island. During their sailing experience, they operated the GMDSS station familiarizing themselves with the steering system and the various equipment in the engine room.

Οn August 2th, during a scheduled visit to our island, Μrs. Anna Diamantopoulou, politician, former minister and former member of the European Commission visited our School and following a meeting with the Management and educational staff, she was given a tour of our facilities and laboratories.
